Job Description
Position name: CNC Turner / Prototype Machinist
This is not a production operator position.

A group of Artellect applicants are already working with this employer.
Employer is a modern CNC machining company located in Lappeenranta, Finland. They operate approximately 40 CNC machines and manufacture demanding components for international customers in the mining, material handling, process industry, and engineering sectors.
Job overview:
This is not a production operator position.
We are specifically searching for a fast and capable prototype machinist who can quickly transform engineering drawings into finished parts with minimal supervision.
Main Responsibilities
- CNC turning of prototype and small-batch components
- Programming directly at the machine (Fanuc controls)
- Setup, tooling selection, and process optimization
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Measuring and verifying finished components
- Continuous improvement of machining methods and cycle times
Contract
Hourly pay net: 13 EUR/hour brutto => 10,5 EUR/hour netto
Sample salary calculation:
160 hours per month =1680 EURO per month net
200 hours per month = 2100 EURO per month net
Highly qualified applicants can expect higher grade salary range:
14 - 15.6 EUR/hour brutto => 11.3 - 12.5 EUR/hour netto
Package & benefits
- Company accommodation, employee covers only 220 EUR/month. It is possible to share the room to lower the cost.
- Company provides subsidised car, employee pays 120 EUR/month only. Cost can be shared between few colleagues.
Benefits:
Employer will support the long-term employment, and Employees permanent settlement in Finland in accordance with the Finland Laws and regulations.
Who can apply
Applicants who currently reside and work in Taiwan
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of CNC turning experience
- Strong experience with Fanuc-controlled CNC lathes
- Ability to program and edit CNC programs independently
- Experience with setup and first-piece manufacturing
- Good understanding of machining tolerances and GD&T
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision
- Good English communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with live tooling and Y-axis lathes
- CAD/CAM experience (Mastercam is an advantage)
- Experience machining stainless steels, duplex stainless steels, alloy steels, and engineering materials
- Experience in prototype and low-volume manufacturing

Details
Contract duration: 2 years + further extension.
Hungarian work permit (long term). Arranged by employer and agency.
Processing time: 3-6 months, subject to schedule of public services
Expenses
Total expenses: 69,500 TWD
