Position name: Injection Moulding Machine (IMM) Setter
Product: Plastic parts for automotive air-conditioning units.
Job description:
Sets up and runs injection moulding machines and moulds according to technological parameters and the supervisor’s instructions.
- Performs injection moulding of plastic parts; sets up machines and moulds to specified parameters
- Keeps assigned injection moulding machines (KraussMaffei, Arburg and others) running smoothly
- Works with plastic granules: loads material, checks the parts and adjusts machine parameters
- Performs regular inspections and maintenance of assigned equipment
- Leads and trains new operators
- Reports production problems, non-conformities and machine malfunctions to the supervisor immediately
- Cooperates with the technical department on technical problems and process optimisation
- Proposes improvements to work procedures, product quality and efficiency
- Follows health & safety, fire protection and internal company rules
Shifting:
37,5 hours / week (7.5 hours per shift). 1-shift, 2-shift, 3-shift or continuous operation.
Contract details
Monthly salary:
1,600 EUR gross / approximately 1,300 EUR net (about 1,480 USD*)
+ overtime, night and weekend shift premiums according to Slovak law
Contract length: 2 years with prolongation option. Probation period: 3 months
Salary payment: monthly, by the 15th day of the following month

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a setter of plastic injection moulding machines: setting up the machine and the mould, and running production of plastic parts
- Experience with KraussMaffei, Arburg or similar injection moulding machines (e.g. Haitian)
- CNC / metalworking experience alone is not suitable for this position
- Completed vocational or secondary technical school
- Basic PC skills
- Normal colour vision
- Manual dexterity, attentiveness, responsibility and reliability

Visa type:
- Total processing time - 4-7 months, subject to Consulate procedures
- National "D" type work visa + residence permit
- Permanent residence in 5 years in case of successful employment.
